Scope and Contents The Artist’s Records series consists of materials Rosenthal accumulated over the course of her daily life as a working artist. The bulk of materials span the 1970s through the 2020s. Materials include daily calendars, billing books, memo books, and the work binders Rosenthal used to document daily tasks, appointments, expenses and art sales, and to record notes and compile ideas. Scope and Contents This series consists of materials related to Rosenthal’s visual and media-based projects including video works, photography, mail art, and textiles. The majority of materials span Rosenthal’s professional career as a working artist from the 1970s to the 2010s. As evidenced by the materials, Rosenthal pursued avant-garde projects such as surrealist photography and Super 8 short films, while also working as a photojournalist for major publications such as the New York Post and Village Voice....
