Artist's Records, circa 1960-2024

 Series — Multiple Containers

Scope and Contents

The Artist’s Records series consists of materials Rosenthal accumulated over the course of her daily life as a working artist. The bulk of materials span the 1970s through the 2020s. Materials include daily calendars, billing books, memo books, and the work binders Rosenthal used to document daily tasks, appointments, expenses and art sales, and to record notes and compile ideas. Other records include documents and ephemera-such as ID and membership cards-pertaining to Rosenthal’s studio practice, her live/work space, and professional projects and activities, including client files and other working files for her and Bill Creston's business eMediaLoft. Altogether, the materials in this series provide insight into the activities of an artist living and working in New York City in the 1970s through the present day.
