The majority of materials span Rosenthal’s professional career as a working artist from the 1970s to the 2010s. Scope and Contents This subseries includes clothing and accessories belonging to Rosenthal and her mother, Evelyne, designated by Rosenthal as part of her Unfashionable Art project. Garments range from pieces related to major life events such as weddings and graduations to Rosenthal’s bedazzled performance costumes, to lovingly worn everyday clothes.
