Scope and Contents The awards series consists of plaques and certificates. The largest plaque is from 1979 appointing Andrew Greller as a member of the Northeastern Queens Nature and Historical Preserve Commission. According to Greller, this plaque was signed by Governor Hugh Carey in disappearing ink (evident in its faded appearance) - apparently due to Carey's strong dislike of him. Certificates include a 1976 Certificate of Appreciation from the United States Environmental Protection Agency, a 1983...
