In this interview, Dr. Warren talks about choosing to teach at Queens College instead of Ohio State, and about the changing composition of the student body in the campus through the years that he had been teaching and how the changes reflect the diversity of Queens.

Biographical Note

Frank Warren joined the Queens College Department of History in 1962. He retired in 2012 after serving for 50 years. His books include Liberals and Communism: The Red Decade Revisited (1966), An Alternative Vision: The Socialist Party in the 1930s (1974), and Noble Abstractions: American Liberal Intellectuals and World War II (1999). He also co-edited The New Deal: An Anthology (1968) with Michael Wreszin.
