Scope and Contents
This series of posters was produced by the Organization of Solidarity with the People of Asia, Africa and Latin America (OSPAAAL) and were printed using silkscreen and offset printing techniques. Subjects in the series include Cuba, Ethiopia, Congo, Japan, Vietnam, Ethiopia, and Puerto Rico.

Biographical / Historical
Founded in 1966, OSPAAAL was an international non-governmental organization working to denounce American imperialism, promote international solidarity, and unite activists across the globe. The abbreviation OSPAAAL comes from the group’s name in Spanish: ‘Organización de Solidaridad de los Pueblos de Asia, África y América Latina'. Various artists and designers created over three-hundred poster designs produced between 1967 and 2019.
