Printed in Lyons by Jean de Tournes for Antonius Gryphius. Lacks title page. Only a short dedicatory text, to Phillippus Thebalducius Iacominius (otherwise unknown?). The last page is an illustration of a Griffon, which has led the cataloguer to the office of Gryphius in Leiden.

7.1 Notes
Several notes scribbled on the first pages. One of them is in Hungarian with purple ink [To our dear Director with warm thoughts from Vienna] with a date: ‘921. okt. 20 [1921 October 20] Illegible signature, possibly D[..]udholzik. There is some underlining of passages inside. The binding of the pocket book is adorned in relief with a floral motif including little portraits of men in cartouches contained within a band around the front and back cover. The small metal devices used to lock the book are partly still there, one latch is missing. There is some water damage inside.
