Biographical / Historical
Marion Newman graduated from Queens College in 1958. As the spouse of geology professor Dr. Walter Newman (1927-1987), she was a member and eventual president of the Queens College Women's Club. In 1989, Newman joined the Home Economics Department as a full-time College Lab Technician, retiring in 2005.
