Owned by someone (illegible) in 1566. Gifted to or by a D.P. for Christmas of 1956. The cover is ornamented with a floral motif, on both front and back. The back is ridged, unadorned and without writing. The marginal notes found here and there are in the same hand as the 1566 written on the title page. The notes are hard to read but appear to be at least partly in English.
