Scope and Contents

This subseries consists of materials relating to Rosenthal’s activities as a working artist between the years 1974-2015. It is mainly comprised of documents, which Rosenthal designated as “Exhibition Documentation,” including fliers, press releases, and additional documents pertaining to exhibitions of Rosenthal’s work and the work of other exhibiting artists. Also included are the postcards, posters, and other printed visual material produced for the exhibitions and events in which Rosenthal participated.

Oversized materials from 'exhibition documentation' folders are housed in oversizeds folders in flat files.

Processing Information

In her original filing system, Rosenthal designated the Chronological Files and Gallery Research files as “Exhibition Documentation;” the Postcards, Proofs, and Posters were organized separately. These materials were added to the Exhibition Documentation subseries by the archivist.
