Collection consists of items from Aaron Taube’s work with the Democratic Socialists of America (DSA) Queens Branch during the months of February through November 2018 to help elect Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez as U.S. Representative for New York's 14th congressional district. On June 26, 2018 Ocasio-Cortez pulled off an upset victory over ten-term incumbent Joseph Crowley in the Democratic primary. Robert Rygor worked as a community, LGBT rights and AIDS activist in and around his neighborhood of Greenwich Village for the majority of his adult life.
