Scope and Contents This series includes letters, telegrams and greeting cards sent while Kazin was in residence at Yaddo, an artists’ community in Saratoga Springs, New York, and Birstein was writer-in-residence at The MacDowell Colony, an artists’ colony in Peterborough, New Hampshire.
