This series, containing the largest number of photographs in the collection, depicts Queens College from its founding in 1937 through the early 2000s. The subjects are primarily students on campus, and the events, meetings, classes where they congregate, so as to capture the atmosphere, energy, and feel of the College to transmit through its advertising and marketing materials.

Photographs in this grouping depict named and unnamed events on and off campus involving Queens College students, including galas, conferences, workshops, guest lectures, festivals, fairs, anniversary programs, CultureFest, circuses, and others. Commencements are organized into its own smaller sub-grouping due to the number of folders present in the collection.

Queens College Creative Services employs and/or contracts photographers to document academics, student life, and events on campus to create publicity and marketing material about the college. This collection includes photograph prints, photograph albums, and some negatives from the founding of the college in 1937 through about 2007, used by the Creative Services department in its work.
