Scope and Contents From the Series:

This series includes photographic prints of various types and sources, both personal and professional. Warren Phillips and members of his family took many of these photographs, whereas others are the products of press events and ceremonies. Items are arranged chronologically, with oversize photographs and print envelopes at the end.

Abstract: Warren Phillips worked for The Wall Street Journal for the majority of his professional life, rising from a reporter and editor to the role of Publisher, and finally Chief Executive Officer of its parent organization, Dow Jones & Company.
