This collection consists of two items: one published volume and one typewritten copy of a poem. The book, Olde Flushing, by Harriet Dondero Lawson, was published in 1952 and gives a detailed account of Flushing as it was in the 1880s and 1890s. The poem, “Mural in The Greek Bar,” is dated Winter 1978 and was written by Tom Carey’s friend and Flushing resident Patrick Ryan.
