Queens College Faculty Wives and Women's Club Records
Scope and Contents
This collection documents the activities of the Queens College Faculty Wives Club, including social activities and fundraising. The club formally changed it's name to the Queens College Women's Club in 1967. The earliest records date to 1938, one year after Queens College was established. Materials include administrative records, photos from an "arts and hobbies show" in 1967, scrapbooks, clippings, bulletins, newsletters, fliers, and directories. A highlight is a bound, illustrated recipe collection compiled by the Club in 1966.
