Original speech recording (reel) held by the Aaron Copland School of Music. Digital transfers of speech recording (compact disc, .wav and .mp3 files) preserved and managed by Special Collections and Archives. Press coverage collected by Special Collections and Archives from various sources. Transcript of speech created by Special Collections and Archives volunteer.

Processing Information

Audio recording of speech transferred from 7 inch reel in December, 2004, by staff at the Aaron Copland School of Music (ACSM). The recording was saved on a compact disc in 7 tracks. Special Collections and Archives staff ripped the files in both the .wav format (for preservation) as well as the .mp3 format (compressed files for sharing).
