Scope and Contents

This file contains posters, leaflets, and handbills created and distributed in 1968 and 1969 surrounding the US National election of 1968. Within the materials, various activist groups including the Students for a Democratic Society (SDS), the Radical Organizing Committee (ROC), the Yippies, the Fifth Avenue Vietnam Peace Parade Committee, and others promote various forms of political protest including pickets, strikes, demonstrations, and marches against party politics and political candidates such as Richard Nixon, Hubert Humphrey, and George Wallace.
