Creative Works, bulk: 1921 - 1954, 1921 - 1985
Scope and Content
The Creative Works series contain materials related to Rathaus's musical compositions, including his opus works; compositions created for educational purposes; incidental music composed for theater productions; film scores; and his 1952 work for the Metropolitan Opera to restore the original version of Modest Mussorgsky's Boris Godunov. This series includes published scores, music manuscripts and sketches, related correspondence, program notes, playbills, and press clippings.
