Scope and Contents
According to Ackerman, most of his legislative folders were disposed of; however, some files documenting his work on various issues were retained. Of note, there are extensive files documenting Ackerman's involvement in the Ilan Grapel affair, a large quantity of thank you notes from constituents regarding personal assistance his office provided, and a large quantity of correspondence with the White House/President Bill Clinton from the 1990s.
