Images of panels and boards from exhibit that was installed in the Rotunda of the Benjamin Rosenthal Library at Queens College from September 2 through October 18, 2003. The display (titled "McCarthyism at Queens College") was curated by Dorothy Pita (Queens College alumnus) and Lawrence Kaplan (Queens College alumnus and Professor Emeritus of History at City College), with the assistance of designer Alice Sprintzen and Queens College Archivist Stephen Barto. Pita and Kaplan were students at Queens College during the period portrayed.

Processing Information

These materials were scanned and photographed to capture the intellectual content and the original boards were discarded. The adhesive used to glue paper to the boards had dried out and papers were coming off the boards. Additionally, the boards were large and difficult to store.
