Social Studies Exams , 1920s-1970s

This series contains a selection of social studies exams from across the United States. These include the Ely-King Tests in American History (1927 and 1929), from Southern California School Book Depository Ltd.; Wiedefeld-Walther Geography Test (1931); Cooperative American History Test (1948); Premises of American Government Test (1952) from the Citizenship Education Project, Teachers College of Columbia University; a set of the Cooperative Social Studies Test (1965), which includes U.S. history, world history, civics, and American government; Crary American History Test (1965); Cummings World History Test (1966); and the APNA Foundation Newspaper Test (1972) from the National Council for the Social Studies.
