Scope and Contents
This series contains posters, flyers, pamphlets, brochures, and programs related to Queens College athletics and the Women’s Basketball team, Association for Intercollegiate Athletics for Women (AIAW) tournaments, basketball camps and clinics. News clippings from newspapers and magazines, including photocopies of news articles, related to the same subjects, particularly the success of the Queens College team under Kyvallos’s coaching, are also included. Highlights include posters from games played at Madison Garden in the 1970s, promotional booklets for the World University Games, and moving image footage of Queens College playing Immaculata College in the first ever women's basketball game held at Madison Square Garden in 1975.
