This series documents the death of Lieutenant Alan Rea, who was a graduate of the Queens College AFROTC program. He died in a plane crash on May 28, 1957 while serving as a first lieutenant at the Soesterberg Royal Netherlands Air Force Base. The series also covers the efforts to get donations for a plaque in his honor, as well as the ultimately-successful attempt to get the ROTC building on the campus renamed for him. This series is arranged by date and media type.
