Scope and Contents

The series includes programs and reviews for those performances associated with Leo Kraft. The majority of conducted performances include programs for his work with the New Repertory Ensemble. Additional programs include performances of Kraft pieces, as well as certain performances that were attended or organized by Kraft. Many of the programs include notes about Kraft's work, as well as the additional program composers and performers.

The collection is almost entirely in English. The correspondence series contains small selection of letters in French.

Extent

From the Collection: 4.5 Linear Feet (10 boxes including 1 flat box) : Correspondence is the largest series, comprising approximately 50% of the collection, located in five boxes. The Performances series contains programs and performance reviews that are located in three boxes, comprising approximately 30% of the collection. The Contracts, Personal, and Oral Exercises series complete the remaining 20% of the collection.

Arrangement of Materials

Series is arranged chronologically from 1933 - 2014. The conducted performances are housed in a separate folder dated 1949 - 1983.
