Scope and Contents
This series relates to an organization that promoted dialogue between the Black and Jewish communities in Queens. Zadoian served on the group’s advisory committee. General Materials contains programs, flyers, news clippings, photos, press releases and other documents relating to the organization’s activities; the Jackson/Tanenbaum Forum includes photos, news reports, correspondence and community protest materials relating to a controversial on-campus event featuring Rev. Jesse Jackson and Rabbi Marc Tanenbaum; and the Grant Request consists of flyers, event announcements and other documents assembled for a grant request. There is also a VHS tape of a CBS television documentary about the project.
