Scope and Contents

Forman documented his activity using video and audio recordings, and kept broadcast quality copies of programs in which he was involved. Forman also recorded his attendance at conferences, talks and reunions. He often recorded personal audio dictation based on readings, news broadcasts, and research projects. A selection of materials deemed of strong interest to researchers has been digitized. Please e-mail QC.archives@qc.cuny.edu for more information.

Formats include VHS tapes, casette tapes, U-Matic, and Betacam.

Appointments to examine materials must be made in advance. Please e-mail QC.archives@qc.cuny.edu for more information or to schedule an appointment. Some legacy media items will remain inaccessible until they are converted to modern digital formats. Forman's collection of books, as well as a portion of the periodicals and pamphlets he collected, are currently inaccessible and/or unprocessed.
