Includes correspondence, invitations and materials related to SCI's special events. Of particular note are records related to a 1964 exhibition of Franklin D. Roosevelt's "Old Navy" art collection, SCI's participation in the 1939 New York World's Fair, and materials related to SCI's ninetieth, centennial and one-hundred and twenty-fifth celebrations. Also included are materials related to the launch of the Liberty Ship SS Janet Lord Roper in 1943 and the visit of Poet Laureate of the United Kingdom John Masefield to the Institute in 1926.
