Scope and Contents
This subseries consists primarily of taped recordings of Kouguell and his musical collaborators. The recordings include live performances and concerts, as well as informal rehearsals with other musicians. Additionally, there is a recording of Kouguell playing Arkadie Kouguell's 2nd Sonata; a recording of a piano lesson between Kouguell and his son, Arthur; a recorded voice letter to Kouguell's wife, Florence; and a 1980 interview with WQXR, a non-commercial classical music radio station in New York City.

Language of Materials
Most of this collection is in English, with limited Performance and Personal and Correspondence papers in French, Armenian, Russian and Spanish. French is also present in a small number of music manuscripts.
Conditions Governing Access
