Scope and Contents

Materials found in this series were created to advertise Marshall's various campaigns as well as the campaigns of her Democratic associates and competitors. The "Administrative" subseries contatins materials that pertain to the internal functions of Marshall's campaigns, including volunteers and staff, campaign finance and fundraising records, and voting results and statistics. This series contains mixed materials including text documents, handwritten notes, buttons, banners, posters, and clippings pertaining to political campaigns of New York State and City between the mid-1970s and early 2000s.

Language of Materials

From the Collection:

Majority of the materials are written in English. A small quantity of correspondence is in Spanish and Korean. It is possible that there are other languages present throughout the correspondence, though it would be a very small percentage.

Appointments to examine materials must be made in advance. Please email QC.archives@qc.cuny.edu for more information or to schedule an appointment.

4.5 Linear Feet (One large oversized box (22.5" x 15.5" x 2"), one mid-sized custom box (18.5" x 13.5" x 3"), and two standard record cartons (15.5" x 12.5" x 10.25"))

Arrangement

Campaign materials are arranged into four subseries according to function and format, and further arranged chronologically by file within each subseries.
