Bachelor of Arts in Byzantine and Modern Greek Studies Development , circa early 1980s, 1980-1983
Scope and Contents
This sub-series focuses on the creation and development of the Center for Byzantine and Modern Greek Studies Bachelors of Arts Program. It includes early proposal forms for the B.A. Program, which discuss various topics such as the proposed name, structure and personnel, and an explanation for what the program would offer as a Bachelor of Arts degree as both a major and a minor. The proposal documents a survey of courses relating to Byzantine and Modern Greek Studies already offered at Queen College, and the creation of the B.A. program served as a way to organize and consolidate courses, faculty, staff, and facilities.
