Scope and Contents

Materials in this subseries represent the behind-the-scenes campaign management of Marshall's political races, including records such as volunteer and staff polling assignments, New York City Campaign Finance Board investigations and reports, and both hand-tallied local voting results as well as official election statistics. Financial records that contained sensitive data such as banking information, as well as volunteer and staff records that contained personally identifiable information such as social security numbers and birth dates, have been removed from this collection for privacy precautions.

Language of Materials

From the Collection:

Majority of the materials are written in English. A small quantity of correspondence is in Spanish and Korean. It is possible that there are other languages present throughout the correspondence, though it would be a very small percentage.

This subseries is arranged into three broad files that represent the various internal functions of Marshall's campaigns, including personnel, financial, and statistical records. This subseries is physically separated by file, then organized chronologically within each file.
